Picture Elaine from Seinfeld. Now, image someone 10 times worse than that. Yeah… that’s me.

I used to be a figure skater
From the 3-8th grade I was a competitive figure skater. I had the imitation ’92 Kristi Yamaguchi outfit to boot.
Towards the end of my career, I was able to successfully land double jumps.

I like to sew
Growing up, my mom would spend her evenings in the basement sewing me and my sister clothing. I would sit down there with my mom and try to sew just like her. From the scraps of fabric that was leftover, I would sew my own dollhouse dolls and blankets.
Many years later I was reintroduced to sewing (thanks Pinterest!) and started to refashion a few of my old clothes. I didn’t want to stop at refashioning, I wanted to actually create entirely new garments. I’ve since sewn many tops, skirts and evening dresses. My addiction is still alive as ever!
Personal Touches
Made by the hand
I like to incorporate any sort of handmade element into my designs. Be it painting, calligraphy, hand type, collaging or carving block printing. I think that that adds a personal touch to the design and makes me even more proud of what I accomplished.
